MOLYKOTE® P-1500
MOLYKOTE® P-1500 is a semisynthetic oil–based paste with solid lubricants, such as white solids. It offers anti-seize properties and excellent prevention of fretting corrosion. It is commonly used for assembly.
MOLYKOTE® P-1500 Paste is a white-colored grease paste that combines the benefits of a wide operating temperature range with excellent anti-fretting performance properties. MOLYKOTE® P-1500 is comprised of semisynthetic oil, lithium soap, solid lubricants, and corrosion inhibitors.
Predominantly used to prevent fretting corrosion, MOLYKOTE® P-1500 anti-seize paste has good resistance to water washout, can handle heavy loads in a wide temperature range, and is excellent for long-term lubrication for metallic components. P-1500 paste is great for sliding surfaces, friction contacts under heavy loads, and applications that require "clean" lubrication at low to medium speeds. It is also an excellent lubricant for electrical and domestic appliances, package and office machinery, precision instruments, and textile and plastics processing machinery.
