Galactic Nisin products are natural antimicrobial powder preparations produced by controlled fermentation of Lactococcus lactis. Nisin is a bacteriocin that effectively inhibits Gram-positive bacteria, including Listeria monocytogenes, and is recognized as GRAS by the FDA.
