Glyclean^® D70HP is a high-purity, dual-function ingredient that combines antimicrobial efficacy with superior cleaning power in hard surface formulations. This manufacturing-use-only product must be incorporated into EPA-approved formulations through sub-registration.

U.S. EPA-registered formulations featuring Glyclean^® D70HP include Glyclean^® Broad Spectrum Disinfectant and Cleaner, Glyclean^® Hard Surface Cleaner (EPA List N approved for SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19), Glyclean^® Pine Cleaner, and Glyclean^® Toilet Bowl Cleaner. These formulations are available for sub-registration but are not sold directly to end users.

Glyclean^® D70HP employs its acid and alcohol functional groups to disrupt microbial cells effectively. Its small molecular structure ensures rapid penetration while minimizing microbial resistance development.

It is proven effective against a broad spectrum of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, including E. coli (O157:H7), Listeria welshimeri, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus. Full EN 13697 studies are available for review.

Glyclean^® D70HP demonstrates effectiveness against both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 (the virus responsible for COVID-19), Influenza Type A, Rhinovirus Type 37, and Herpes Type 1.

Glyclean^® Hard Surface Cleaner has been tested for efficacy against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 on nonporous surfaces. When applied per the instructions for use against Rhinovirus Type 37, it can be utilized for disinfection against SARS-CoV-2.
