Tulsion® A-32 Gel is a strong base anion exchange resin based on a polystyrene matrix that contains quaternary ammonium, type II functional groups. The anion exchange resin offers slightly lower basicity than type I resin, providing greater regeneration efficiency and operating capacity.
Tulsion® A-32 Gel is a strong base anion deionization resin based on a polystyrene matrix and contains type II quaternary ammonium functional groups. Tulsion® A-32 Gel has slightly lower basicity than type I anion exchange resin. This offers greater regeneration efficiency and operating capacity at equivalent regeneration levels compared to type I resins.
Tulsion® A-32 Gel is supplied in a tough gel form and offers excellent physical characteristics due to its crack-free nature. The base anion resin is supplied in chloride form and is suited for use in a wide range of pH and temperature conditions. Tulsion® A-32 Gel removes nitrate impurities which makes it excellent for use in groundwater remediation applications and other applications when nitrate removal is required.
Tulsion®A-32 Gel is recommended for use where the removal of strong as well as weak acids is necessary at high regeneration efficiencies. However, due to its slightly lower basicity, silica leakage is marginally higher compared to type I resins when used in two-bed systems. If silica leakage is an important parameter, type II resins might be better for use in a two-bed system along with strong acid cation exchangers such as Tulsion®T-42.
