Overview
Valirex® Zr 24 D60 is a zirconium-based carboxylate liquid secondary drier containing 24% Zr metal in a D60 white spirit solvent. It is recommended for a variety of uses including paint drier and coating applications. It is capable of promoting the drying and hardening of paint film upon oxidation. Valirex® Zr 24 D60 is appropriate for solvent-borne and hybrid applications and is compatible with most drying oils, alkyd resins, and solvents normally used in surface coating formulations.
