Overview
HiTEC® 12213 heavy-duty engine oil additive is a dispersant inhibitor (DI) package designed for formulating heavy-duty mainline diesel engine oils that exceed API CK-4 and FA-4 specifications. The additive package delivers superior wear protection, oxidation performance, and contamination control, allowing diesel engines to run longer and with fewer oil-drain intervals. HiTEC®12213 additive can be used alone or as a booster with HiTEC® 12210 heavy-duty additive package.
When properly formulated with HiTEC® 5748A olefin copolymer (OCP) viscosity modifier, engine oils with HiTEC® 12213 additive package meet licensing requirements for the following:
API CK-4 in SAE 15W-40 and 10W-30
API FA-4 in SAE 10W-30
