Overview
ADCOTE™ 102E is a solution of polyester resin in ethyl acetate. It should be used in conjunction with an isocyanate coreactant as a component of a two part, solvent based adhesive system. The ADCOTE™ 102E adhesive system adheres well to films commonly used in flexible packaging including treated polyolefins, cellophane, and aluminum foil. In addition, it also bonds well to high slip films including PVDC coated films. ADCOTE™ 102E has a high degree of temperature, UV, and chemical resistance and can be used in laminations intended for outdoor use. ADCOTE™ is approved for indirect food contact under 21 CFR 175.105 and as such is often used in laminations for pouches, portion packs, and other flexible packaging for food.
