Overview
Coreactant CR-202 is a polyol coreactant that reacts with PACACEL™ L75-200 to form the PACACEL™ L75-200/CR-202 adhesive system. This polyurethane, solventless laminating adhesive is 100% solids and provides excellent bond strength to foils and metallized films like metallized PET. It also creates strong bonds with PET, aluminum oxide–coated films, and treated PP, PE, and coextruded polymer films. The PACACEL™ L75-200/CR-202 system allows laminates to further process after 6 hours after coating and provides very fast curing, which completes within 2 days at ambient temperature. PACACEL™ L75-200/CR-202 meets FDA 21 CFR 177.1395 conditions of use B–H and (EU) No 10/2011 regulatory approvals. This adhesive is ideal for meat and cheese, condiment, frozen food, hot fill, boil-in-bag, and ovenable flexible packaging applications.
