ADCOTE™ 123 is the polyol component of a two-component polyester laminating adhesive. It is typically paired with the COREACTANT 9L10
isocyanate to cure and create the laminating adhesive system. ADCOTE™ 123 is excellent at bonding substrates such as polyester, metallized polyester, nylon, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, paper, and aluminum foil. It offers excellent weatherability, high bond strength, and resistance to heat, chemicals, and yellowing due to UV exposure. This makes it ideal for laminates used outdoors and subject to high stress. Thus, the ADCOTE™ 123 adhesive system is typically used in industrial applications, such as laminating scrim and fabric to create sails, coverings, and protective clothing.
