ADCOTE™ 33R4G is a gel lacquer, solvent based, heat seal coating commonly used for lidding, hot fill condiments, and other food packaging applications.
ADCOTE™ 33R4G heat seal adhesive should be applied to solvent stable substrates at 3-5 lbs per ream coating weight. It will then dry to a transparent, low blocking film. Once applied ADCOTE™ 33R4G can subsequently be heat sealed to polyethylene, polypropylene, aluminum foil, polyester and polyvinyl chloride. ADCOTE™ 33R4G has excellent hot tack and is typically recommended for lidding of hot fill condiment containers made from polyethylene, polypropylene, and PVC. ADCOTE™ carries broad FDA compliance and can be used as a heat seal coating for food packaging requiring direct and indirect food contact approval.
