ADCOTE™ 37P295HV is a water-based dispersion based on high–molecular weight ethylene interpolymers. It is commonly used as a heat seal coating applied to polyethylene, polypropylene, polyesters, and paper at 1.5-2.0 pounds per ream. The cured film will be a low-blocking, heat-sealable surface with excellent hot tack. ADCOTE™ 37P295HV can be heat-sealed to high-slip films such as PVDC and untreated polyethylene at a relatively low activation temperature. Compared to ADCOTE™ 37P295, ADCOTE™ 37P295HV is offered as a higher-viscosity solution that exhibits excellent holdout on paper, making it useful in sealing-in applications such as push-through pill packaging. ADCOTE™ 37P295HV also complies with direct and indirect food contact regulations and is therefore a great choice to create flexible lids and seals on food packaging. This product is produced in a batch reactor process compared to ADCOTE™ 37P295HV-BW.
