Overview
ADCOTE™ 545-80 is a two-component polyester laminating adhesive system that features high heat and chemical resistance. It is used with various isocyanate-terminated coreactants for flexible packaging and industrial applications.
This adhesive provides high optical clarity and creates laminations with high bond strength using a variety of substrates such as cellophane, treated polyolefins, polyester, foil, paper, metallized materials, and coextruded films. The high heat and chemical resistance make this adhesive ideal for applications ranging from food and medical packaging to industrial laminates. In packaging applications, ADCOTE™ 545-80 is highly resistant to aggressive contents such as tomato concentrates, cosmetics, and soaps.
