Calcium Stearate FN VEG, Powder is a carboxylate formed from stearic acid and calcium oxide. Its primary uses are as a flow agent, stabilizer, thickener, and surface conditioner. Calcium Stearate FN VEG, Powder is a fused stearate that can act as a catalyst neutralizer or lubricant for polypropylene and polyolefin formulations. Calcium Stearate FN VEG, Powder is also used as a thickening additive for lubricants and as an anti-static agent and acid scavenger in PVC formulations. Calcium Stearate FN is certified for NSF/ANSI Standard 14 Generic Ingredients and has passed all applicable sections of NSF/ANSI Standard 61 health effects requirements for potable water applications.
