Sodium Stearate T-1 GE is an oleochemical from the sodium salt of distilled hydrogenated fatty acids and can act as a lubricant, emulsifier, or dispersant for various polymeric applications.
Sodium Stearate T-1 GE is a vulcanized promotor for rubber polymers; however, it is specifically seen in room deodorants. This PMC Biogenix sodium stearate grade offers use as an additive for high-impact polystyrene and polypropylene masterbatches or compounders. Sodium Stearate T-1 GE works as an emulsifier and dispersant in latex paints while providing a high softening point and excellent resistance to discoloration for polyamides and polycarbonates.
