TrusTec® PRF Isooctane is a high-purity primary reference fuel composed of 99.75% isooctane that meets the requirements of ASTM D-2699 and D-2700 for octane analysis.
TrusTec® PRF Isooctane is an extremely pure, primary reference fuel from Chevron Phillips Chemical that delivers exceptional performance and consistency for ASTM D-2699 and D-2700 fuel testing to determine the octane rating of gasoline. This reference fluid has a minimum purity of 99.75% 2,2,4-trimethylpentane (isooctane) and provides an octane rating of 100. TrusTec® PRF Isooctane is typically mixed with TrusTec® PRF Octane Blend No. 80 and TrusTec® PRF n-Heptane to the desired octane value.
