TrusTec® PRF Octane Blend No. 98 primary reference fuel meets the requirements outlined in ASTM D-2699 and ASTM D-2700 for octane testing. The reference fuel is a blend of 98% isooctane and 2% n-heptane.
Specific gravity at 60/60 °F: 0.6950 – 0.6970
Composition, vol %:
Isooctane: 97.70 – 98.30
n-Heptane: 1.70 – 2.30
