Overview
This 10% beta-carotene beadlet grade contains finely dispersed beta-carotene obtained through the fermentation of Blakeslea trispora in a matrix of non-GMO modified corn starch and corn oil. Mixed tocopherols are added as an antioxidant for shelf life extension. The coating contains white particles of corn starch, which may be visible in the product but do not affect the product quality. It results in a yellow-to-light-orange color when used in water-based applications.

Applications
This grade is ideal for water-based applications, including those stored at cooler temperatures and that do not want particle separation.
Applications include beverages, powdered drink mixes, smoothies, sports and energy drinks, lower-fat dairy products, baked goods, pasta, effervescent tablets, frozen desserts, stick packs, yogurts, and confectionery.
This grade is not intended for softgels and capsules.
A stock solution can be prepared by slowly adding the desired quantity of powder to cold or warm water under continuous agitation.
