Overview
This 20% lutein liquid suspension contains natural micronized crystals of free lutein and zeaxanthin (natural and nonesterified) extracted from marigold flowers dispersed in a matrix of safflower oil. DL-alpha-tocopherol is added as an antioxidant to maintain product quality over the shelf life.

Applications
In the US, it can only be used as a nutritional additive for eye health under dietary supplement regulations. For coloring properties, lutein can only be used in products sold in the EU. This grade is ideal for oil-based applications, such as softgels, oils, butters, and margarines.
