Overview
SmokeShield® ZS is a smoke suppressant and flame retardant agent characterized by its smaller particle size than SmokeShield® ZB4. Zinc stannate (ZS) has notable efficacy in halogenated polymers, with a particular emphasis on its role as a char-forming agent in polyvinyl chloride (PVC). SmokeShield® ZS is employed as a substitute for antimony trioxide in the context of flexible PVC and halogenated polyesters.
