HiTEC® 2597 is a cost-effective, ashless additive package for circulating oils, and rust and oxidation (R&O) oils.
HiTEC® 2597 is a zinc-free, cost-effective performance additive package for the formulation of rust and oxidation (R&O) oils for use as circulating oils and bearing oils. This R&O additive contains anti-wear and rust inhibitors that provide wear and corrosion protection to equipment, as well as antioxidants that provide oxidation stability and improve lubricant longevity. HiTEC® 2597 also contains anti-foam additives for exceptional foam control.
HiTEC® 2597 R&O additive is soluble in Group I, II, and III base stocks, and can be used at various treat rates depending on application and desired final fluid performance. Lubricants formulated with HiTEC® 2597 additive can meet the following specifications:

HiTEC® 2597 R&O additive is intended for use in the formulation of rust and oxidation oils to be used in bearing oil and circulating oil applications. The recommended treat rate is 0.4% wt. in suitable base oils.
