Overview
HiTEC® 2597 performance additive package is a zinc-free, cost-effective additive for the formulation of rust and oxidation (R&O) oils for use as circulating and bearing lubricants. This R&O additive contains anti-wear properties and rust inhibitors that provide wear and corrosion protection to equipment, as well as antioxidants that provide oxidation stability and improve lubricant longevity. The product also contains antifoam additives for exceptional foam control. It is soluble in Group I, II, and III base stocks and can be used at various treat rates depending on application and desired final fluid performance. Lubricants formulated with HiTEC® 2597 additive can meet the following specifications: DIN 51515-1, DIN 51517-2, and DIN 51524-1 ASTM D4304 Type I ISO 11158 HL AIST 125 and 135 AGMA 9005-F16 (R&O) MORGOIL® lubricant specifications from Primetals Technologies
