AKPEROX® A50 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) solution in a dimethyl phthalate diluent. It is recommended for use as a curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature.
AKPEROX® A50 is a high-quality methyl ethyl ketone peroxide catalyst in dimethyl phthalate made by AKPA for curing unsaturated polyester resins. It is typically combined with metal salts to initiate the polymerization process and can be used at room temperature. As a high-performance catalyst, it is suitable for vinyl ester, dope, fiber, and casting type polyester resins and glass reinforced plastic (GRP) pipe production. It may also be used in FRP hand lay-up and spray-up applications. AKPEROX® A50 complies with REACH regulations EC No 1907/2006 and EC No 1272/2008 and Commission Regulation EU No 2015/830.
