Overview
AKPEROX® A9CL is a premium-quality, multipurpose catalyst containing methyl ethyl ketone peroxide in a 2,4,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol diisobutyrate mineral solvent. It initiates the chemical cure of unsaturated polyesters at room temperature when used at 1% to 2%. This catalyst can be used in hand lay-up and spray-up applications, in addition to filament winding, resin transfer molding, and polymer concrete and marble.
AKPEROX® A9CL complies with REACH regulations EC No 1907/2006 and EC No 1272/2008 and Commission Regulation EU No 2015/830.
