AKPEROX® HC9 is a high-quality tert-butyl peroxybenzoate solution recommended for use with a cobalt accelerator in the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at high temperatures. It contains 80% peroxide content and is recommended for use at a concentration of 1% to 2%.
AKPEROX® HC9 is an 80% solution of tert-butyl peroxybenzoate in acetyl acetone solution. It is used as a catalyst recommended for accelerating the cure of unsaturated polyester resins in temperatures of 60°C or higher. AKPEROX® HC9 should be used in combination with cobalt accelerators for artificial marbles, filament winding, polymer concrete, and air-drying lacquer applications to provide reliable, consistent performance.
