Bronam^® 20NA is a broad-spectrum microbicide for use in industrial cooling water, formulated to control planktonic microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and algae. The active ingredient is 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide (DBNPA) at 20 percent. The product kills quickly and then breaks down rapidly under alkaline conditions, and it is useful in removing microbial growth, bacterial slime, and other deposits across a variety of systems.

Bronam^® 20NA is compatible with chlorine, bromine, and nonhalogenated oxidizing biocides typically used in treating industrial system waters. The product is applied alone and should never be mixed with other chemicals before feeding to the cooling system. It is a clear yellow-to-amber liquid available in drums and intermediate bulk containers.
