Overview
EcoSolv® Drycleaning Fluid is designed for use in cleaning processes using Stoddard, hydrocarbon, or petroleum solvents. It provides effective and gentle cleaning for delicate fabrics. It has a higher flash point for improved safety than traditional solvents. Meanwhile, the lower vapor pressure means less solvent evaporation, resulting in reduced product usage and costs. Additionally, EcoSolv® Drycleaning Fluid is a more sustainable and eco-friendly option than perchloroethylene (PERC).

Problems Solved
Conventional solvents used in dry cleaning can have several issues, including harsh or unpleasant odors, low flash points (which create flammability and fire concerns), and solvent loss from evaporation. While perchloroethylene used to be a popular dry cleaning solvent, the EPA proposed restrictions to phase out the use of perchloroethylene in dry cleaning due to its health concerns and adverse impacts on the environment.
