Pationic® 1083 is a glycerol monooleate product with a 52% minimum alpha-monoester content.
Pationic® 1083 is derived from natural fats and oils; this is often used as an internal lubricant in PVC and can also be used as an antifogging agent, flow modifier, and dispersing agent. Pationic® 1083 is a glycerol mono oleate grade with a 52% minimum alpha-monoester content. As a polymer additive, Pationic® 1083 offers anti-fogging, dispersing, and flow-modifying properties. Pationic® 1083 offers internal lubricant benefits as a processing aid for PVC while maintaining clarity and pigment hold. While acting as an antifog agent, Pationic® 1083 promotes improved compatibility between polyolefin resins and the hydrophilic component of the formulation.
