Zinador™ 22L
Zinador™ 22L is a 100% bio-based odor neutralizer from Croda. It is highly effective against a wide range of household and industrial malodors. It is readily soluble in aqueous formulations without leaving any residue.
Zinador™ 22L is a polymeric zinc complex that is 100% biobased and completely water-soluble for use as an odor neutralizer in a wide range of household, institutional, and industrial formulations. It is proven to be effective against various malodors, including body odors, pet odors, kitchen odors, and bathroom odors.
Zinador™ 22L delivers outstanding performance without requiring any emulsifiers or chelators. Besides that, it has excellent temperature and pH stability in odor neutralization formulations.
Zinador™ products, including Zinador™ 22L and Zinador™ 35L, are developed and produced by Croda International using advanced Itaconix polymer technology for maximum efficiency and easy incorporation in formulations.
To determine its efficacy, several odor-reduction and neutralization tests were performed on Zinador™. The odors panel included ammonia, body odors, cat urine, and food odors (such as onion, garlic, bacon grease, and beef fat). Zinador 22L™ was found to reduce or fully neutralize malodors compared to competitive products and chemistries at a significantly lower level of use.
