Alcarbon® UC 55/4x8 is a highly adsorptive, steam-activated carbon granulate that exhibits high hardness due to its coconut shell base. It provides excellent absorption and purification for special filter applications.
Alcarbon® UC 55/4x8 is a special activated, granulated carbon compound with a highly porous structure and large internal surface area for enhanced adsorption capabilities. With a granulation mesh size of 4x8 and an apparent density of 460 kg/m³, it provides excellent mechanical strength for special industrial filter applications, such as gas phase and vapor treatment applications. It can efficiently adsorb various organic substances from gases or air for air pollution control, water treatment, and protective filters with high retentivity and excellent reliability.
