DOWFROST™ HD 40% inhibited propylene glycol (PG) is a prediluted, ready-to-use thermal fluid for easy fill & operation in a range of heat transfer equipment. DOWFROST™ HD 40% is comprised of <60% water, 37.0% to 43.0% propylene glycol, and <5% corrosion inhibitors & proprietary additives.
DOWFROST™ HD 40% is dyed fluorescent yellow for easy identification for industrial applications and is engineered to exhibit greater stability at higher temperatures than regular DOWFROST™. DOWFROST™ HD 40% is particularly well suited for applications exposed to temperatures between -6°F and 325°F (-21°C and 162°C).
