Overview
Eastman Sustane™ SAIB CO Food Grade is a stable, free-flowing liquid chemical that is soluble in most alcohol, oils, fats, and waxes. It has a light color, as well as good thermal, hydrolytic, and color stability. SAIB is a very viscous liquid; however, it can change viscosity abruptly upon the addition of solvent or increasing temperature. Recommended for use as a beverage and food additive, it imparts a subtle citrus flavor and aroma, making it especially suitable for citrus-flavored drink applications. Upon use, SAID Co Food grade should be added directly to flavoring oils without a need for heating.
