Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate MCT Food Grade
Sustane™ SAIB MCT Food Grade is a high-quality density-adjusting agent containing a blend of 20% medium chain triglycerides (MCT) and 80% SAIB that pours readily at room temperature. Combining SAIB with MCT provides enhanced cloud properties while maintaining a neutral taste.

Overview
Sustane™ SAIB is a stable liquid weighting agent that is soluble in most alcohol, oils, fats, and waxes. It has a light color, as well as good thermal, hydrolytic, and color stability. SAIB is a very viscous liquid; however, it can change viscosity abruptly upon the addition of solvent or increasing temperature. Recommended for beverage formulations, Sustane™ SAIB MCT Food Grade dissolves rapidly in many flavoring oils and solvents to prevent separation in finished products without affecting odor or taste.
