Neusilin® S1 is an alkaline, synthetic magnesium aluminometasilicate with high water content. It has exceptional excipient properties including its use as a diluent, binder, and disintegration aid in oral solid-dosage form pharmaceuticals.

Neusilin® is a multifunctional excipient that can be used in both direct compression and wet granulation of solid dosage forms. Neusilin® improves the quality of tablets, powder, granules and capsules. Unlike other magnesium aluminum silicates, it does not develop gel with aqueous solutions.
