Neusilin® S2
Neusilin® S2 is an alkaline, synthetic magnesium aluminometasilicate with multifunctional excipient properties. It has low water content and can be used in oral solid-dosage form pharmaceuticals to bind, increase hardness, and aid in tablet disintegration.
Neusilin® is a well-accepted multifunctional excipient. Neusilin® S2 can be used to formulate antibiotics, herbal mixtures, vitamins, and more. Working in both direct compression and wet granulation, it improves the quality of tablets, powder, granules and capsules, and it does not develop gel with aqueous solutions.
