LUDOX® DF is an aqueous dispersion of silica with a 12 nm particle size. It is designed to be used in floor coatings to increase friction and reduce slip.
LUDOX® DF is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion of amorphous silica. It was formulated specifically to be used in anti-slip floor coatings to increase friction and reduce slip and skid. Because of it's relatively low particle size (12 nm) it can provide added friction without effecting the clarity of a floor finish. This is especially useful in coatings and finishes for gymnasiums, schools, hospitals, dance floors, and theaters.
