Adhesion failure of pressure sensitive adhesives caused by extreme changes in temperature.
SilGrip™ PSA518 can be easily diluted to a workable viscosity with aromatic, aliphatic, or chlorinated solvents and applied to films and fabrics using traditional coating methods to manufacture industrial tapes. SilGrip™ PSA518 is often used for electrical insulation and masking tapes for plasma/flame spray application due to its outstanding thermal stability. Tapes manufactured with SilGrip™ PSA518 exhibit excellent adhesion to low energy surfaces and remarkable high temperature shear resistance.
