Overview
UCOAT US-500 is an environmentally friendly polyurethane dispersion (PUD) recommended for the formulation of dry synthetic leather using thermal coagulation. UCOAT US-500 is impregnated into nonwoven fabric and then heated to solidify without the need for DMF solvent. It has a biomass content of 30% and a viscosity of 30 mPa•s at 25⁰C. Upon processing, it provides dry synthetic leather with a breaking strength of 55 MPa.
