HRJ-4047 is an octylphenol and formaldehyde thermoplastic resin that is used to increase tack in natural rubber and synthetic elastomers.
HRJ-4047 is a thermoplastic resin that is excellent for use in natural rubber and synthetic elastomers. It is used as an additive to rubber stocks to impart tack to polyisoprenes, polybutadienes, and SBR rubbers and polymers.
HRJ-4047 is also used at 3-8 phr in tire building formulations to provide a fast hold of the tire parts until vulcanized or cured into an integral unit.
