SP-1068 is a thermoplastic resin that is used to increase tack in natural rubber and synthetic elastomers.
SP-1068 is based on octylphenol and formaldehyde that excellent for use in natural rubber and synthetic elastomers, including SBR, BR, IIR and IR.
SP-1068 is used as an additive to rubber stocks to impart tack to polyisoprenes, polybutadienes, and SBR rubbers. It is typically used wherever tenacious bonds are necessary.
