LOCTITE® 121078
Loctite® 121078 is a high-strength, thixotropic anaerobic retaining compound formulated to bond cylindrical fitting parts. It delivers strong retention and excellent resistance to heat, vibration, and industrial oils. Suitable for components with up to 0.25 mm clearance, this green adhesive also fluoresces under UV light for easy inspection.
Loctite® 121078 is designed to secure close-fitting cylindrical assemblies such as shafts, bearings, bushings, and gears. It cures in the absence of air between tight metal surfaces, forming a durable bond that prevents loosening caused by shock and vibration. Its thixotropic nature ensures the adhesive stays in place without running, even on vertical surfaces. This makes it a dependable choice for industrial and automotive applications where long-term reliability is essential. With a service temperature range from –55°C to +175°C, Loctite® 121078 performs well even under demanding conditions.
