Loctite® 248 is a medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker supplied as a wax-like semi-solid in a self-feeding stick applicator. It cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, forming a durable bond that resists loosening due to vibration and shock. The semi-solid format allows for clean and easy application, making it ideal for overhead and vertical surfaces where liquid adhesives may be impractical. Loctite® 248 works effectively on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces, without the need for a primer.
