LOCTITE AA 3011 LC is a transparent, low-viscosity, one-component UV-curable acrylic adhesive designed for fast surface cure on clear plastics and metals. It carries ISO 10993 biocompatibility qualification, making it ideal for medical device assembly.
LOCTITE AA 3011 LC is engineered for high-speed assembly of devices where optical clarity, precision and biocompatibility matter. Its low viscosity (60-120 mPa·s) ensures efficient wicking into close-fit parts and minimal bondline build-up. Upon exposure to UV light it achieves a tack-free surface in around 8 seconds and handling strength in about 10 seconds, with a cure depth of up to 4 mm and an operating range from –40 °C to +100 °C. The product’s fluorescent formulation also enables visual inspection under UV light to confirm coverage. These attributes make it especially suited to assemblies such as transparent housings, medical disposables, and precision components requiring fast cycle time and reliable adhesion.
