LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC
LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC is a one-component, high-viscosity light-curing adhesive that bonds plastics, glass, ceramics and metals. It cures in seconds under UV or visible light and is qualified for medical and sensitive-device applications.
LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC is tailored for high-speed, high-precision assemblies where flexibility, clarity and biocompatibility are essential. Its high-viscosity acrylic formulation enables controlled dispensing and reduces risk of flow or run-off — particularly useful for stress-sensitive plastics or components with tight tolerances. Upon exposure to appropriate UV or visible light, the adhesive cures rapidly (fixture often in around three seconds under ideal conditions) and forms a flexible, durable, clear bond that resists stress and supports assemblies of plastics, glass, metal or ceramics. The low-chlorine LC variant reduces risk of ionic contamination, making this adhesive suitable for medical devices, disposable instruments, and other sensitive applications that demand both performance and cleanliness.
Specifications

Acrylic ester, light cure
Features & Benefits
Rapid light cure reduces production cycle times and improves throughput.
High viscosity ensures precise application and minimal adhesive migration — ideal for small parts or exact tolerances.
Cured bond is clear and flexible, maintaining appearance and tolerating mechanical stress or thermal variation.
Single-component system simplifies assembly and handling, eliminating need for mixing.
Low-chlorine formulation supports sensitive applications in medical devices, electronics, and clean-room environments.
Problems Solved
Eliminates delays and variability associated with multi-part or slow-curing adhesives.
Prevents adhesive seepage or mis-placement on small or delicate parts during assembly.
Removes need for multiple adhesives across different substrates — one product bonds plastics, glass, ceramics or metal.
Avoids bond failure from stress or thermal changes thanks to flexible cured adhesive.
Reduces risk of ionic contamination or material incompatibility in sensitive or medical-grade assemblies.
Applications
Apply LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC to clean, dry surfaces of plastics, glass, ceramics or metal. Assemble components with correct alignment. Expose the joint to UV or visible light of suitable intensity to achieve rapid cure. The high viscosity helps maintain adhesive position during assembly, especially on small or vertical parts. Once cured, the bond delivers clarity and durability, making it suitable for medical devices, disposable instruments, transparent housings, optical components, metal-plastic assemblies, and applications requiring both cosmetic quality and structural strength.
