LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC BO 1 L
LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC BO 1 L is a high-viscosity, one-component light-curing acrylic adhesive designed for bonding plastics, glass, ceramics and metals. It cures rapidly under UV or visible light, delivering flexible, clear bonds with low yellowing and deep cure penetration.
LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC BO 1 L is formulated for high-speed, precision bonding where flexibility, clarity and reliability are essential. Its high-viscosity acrylic base ensures controlled dispensing and minimises flow or run-off — a particularly useful property when working with small components or stress-sensitive plastics. When exposed to suitable UV or visible light, the adhesive cures quickly (fixture in around 3 seconds under optimal conditions) and builds a strong, flexible bond that remains clear and resists yellowing. The adhesive is suitable for use across a wide range of materials including plastics, glass, metals and ceramics. It is particularly suited to applications such as medical devices (cannulas, syringes, lancets), transparent housings, glass-plastic assemblies and other precise or cosmetic-sensitive components. The LC (low-chlorine) variant supports use in sensitive electronics or device manufacturing where contamination control is critical.
Specifications

Acrylic ester, light-cure adhesive
Features & Benefits
Rapid light cure under UV or visible light allows fast turn-around and high throughput
High viscosity enables controlled, accurate application and reduces risk of adhesive migration
Clear cured finish maintains aesthetic quality in transparent or visible components
Strong adhesion to plastics, metals, glass and ceramics allows versatility in substrate bonding
One-component formulation removes the need for mixing, simplifying inventory and process control
Problems Solved
Eliminates slow cure cycles that can slow down production lines Avoids bond failures or yellowing in assemblies exposed to sunlight or ageing Prevents adhesive overflow or contamination in delicate or small-scale assemblies Reduces complexity by removing need for multiple adhesives when bonding different materials Meets stringent contamination and cleanliness requirements for medical, electronic and clean-room applications
Applications
Apply LOCTITE® AA 3926 LC BO 1 L to clean, dry substrates (plastics, glass, metal or ceramics). Assemble parts as required. Expose the adhesive joint to suitable UV or visible light to initiate curing. The high viscosity ensures the adhesive remains in place during assembly and cures to a clear, flexible bond. Particularly effective for bonding stress-sensitive plastics, medical components (cannulas, syringes, lancets), transparent housings, glass-plastic assemblies, and small precision parts. The LC version supports cleanroom, electronics and medical-device requirements where low contamination is critical.
