LOCTITE® EA 3473
LOCTITE® EA 3473 is an innovative epoxy repair compound containing a high steel content for industrial maintenance and repair applications of metal components. It rapidly cures at room temperature, providing a reliable bond with a metal-like finish. LOCTITE® EA 3473 has an operating range of ─30°C to 95°C (─22°F to 200°F) and provides excellent resistance to wear, chemicals, and extreme thermal conditions.
LOCTITE® EA 3473 is a high performance steel-filled epoxy adhesive designed for rapid, reliable repair and bonding of metal parts. It has a wide range of performance benefits upon use, including non sagging and fast curing within 10 minutes at room temperature, ensuring reliable, durable bonding with a metal-like finish. With a 1:1 ratio, this two part epoxy adhesive provides excellent adherence to various substrates, such as steel, concrete, aluminum, cast iron, copper, and bronze. It is ideal for repairing warn parts like shafts, keyways, housings, flanges and damaged castings or pipes, especially in emergency repairs for industrial applications. LOCTITE® EA 3473 has a tensile strength of 27 N/mm² and a compressive strength of 51 N/mm².
