LOCTITE® EA 9455 is a high-strength, ultra-clear epoxy adhesive recommended to be mixed in a 1:1 ratio and used in bonding and potting applications of optical components. It cures at room temperature, providing a quick fixture of 15 minutes with high strength being reached in 3 to 6 hours.

LOCTITE® EA 9455 is a two-part, industrial-grade adhesive paste formulated for high-strength bonding and potting of optical components, such as sensors and lenses. It features an epoxy resin and mercaptan hardener to be mixed in a 1:1 ratio by volume providing rapid curing at room temperature and achieving optimal fixture within 15 minutes and full high-strength cure in 3 to 6 hours. As an ultra-clear, colorless adhesive it offers excellent aesthetic performance, adhering to ceramics, metals, glass, woods, rubbers, and most plastics. LOCTITE® EA 9455 also exhibits high resistance to peel and shrinkage and excellent electrical insulation.
