LOCTITE® HY 4090 is a cyanoacrylate/epoxy hybrid adhesive designed for a wide variety of high-performance bonding applications. With a mix ratio of 1:1 by volume and a high viscosity, it cures quickly at room temperature after mixing with a fixture time of 90 to 180 seconds and gap-filling capabilities up to 5.0 mmm. After curing it provides a high shear strength of 2,420 psi and resistance to impacts, vibration, and high temperatures up to 150°C (300°F). This adhesive is compatible with various rough or poorly fitting surfaces like steel, rubber, wood, ceramic, tile, glass, and plastics, offering additional resistance to moisture, UV, and shock. LOCTITE® HY 4090 is widely recommended for automotive, electrical, industrial, construction, and consumer goods applications due to its excellent versatility and strong bonding.
