LOCTITE® LB 8040 is a spray rust-treating lubricant containing specialized mineral oil. It promotes the quick disassembly of seized, rusted, and corroded metal parts through quick penetration. It provides a shock-freezing effect that effectively cools parts to 3°C and causes micro-cracks in damaged layers for wicking capillary action and enhanced lubrication. It further protects equipment by providing a thin film on released parts to prevent future rusting or corrosion.
