LOCTITE® SF 7239 is a specialized solvent-based primer that promotes adhesive performance and improves bonding efficiency on low-surface-energy plastics.
LOCTITE® SF 7239 is a surface treatment product designed to enhance the bonding of instant adhesives on low-energy plastics, like polyolefin, thermoplastic rubber, and more. It is formulated with a colorless, solvent base that exhibits a good aesthetic appearance for bond lines and good 'on-part-life'. LOCTITE® SF 7239 is especially suited for bonding with LOCTITE® cyanoacrylate adhesives acting as an activator and accelerator. 24 hours at room temperature should be allowed after application for full bond strength to develop.
LOCTITE® SF 7239 is not recommended in assemblies where high peel strength is required.
