LOCTITE® SF 7701
LOCTITE® SF 7701 is a medical-grade adhesive primer containing 0.8% to 0.12% aliphatic amine active with an N-heptane solvent base. It efficiently primes for adhesive on difficult substrates and low-energy surfaces with a drying time of 30 seconds.
LOCTITE® SF 7701 is an advanced aliphatic amine primer for LOCTITE® cyanoacrylate instant adhesives, enhancing the bonding of difficult-to-bond substrates, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, rubber, thermoplastic materials, and other low energy surfaces. It is formulated with an active concentration of 0.8% to 0.12% in an N-heptane solvent for a low-viscosity, colorless liquid solution that exhibits positive fluorescence under UV light. As a medical-grade primer, LOCTITE® SF 7701 is suitable for the assembly of disposable medical devices, providing a drying time of 30 seconds and an on-part life of 8 hours.
LOCTITE® SF 7701 is not recommended for application where high peel strength is required.
