LOCTITE® SI 5331 is a high-quality liquid thread sealant specially designed by Henkel for water-holding threaded fittings made of metal and plastic. It cures in the presence of 40% atmospheric humidity, developing a low-strength, flexible seal.
LOCTITE® SI 5331 is a single-component, low-strength sealant for thread-locking applications where fittings are required to carry hot or cold water. Formulated as a medium-viscosity, liquid adhesive, LOCTITE® SI 5331 contains an acetoxy silicone base that cures at room temperature in the presence of humidity with temperature resistance up to 150°C. It is compatible with both metal and plastic substrates in industrial and agricultural applications.
